A FAR CRY from last year’s downpour where the crowds ran to the pubs to avoid the rain, this year visitors to the Doonbeg Jazz Festival had to be enticed inside from the beaming sunshine by the banjo, trombone and trumpet.
Thousands of people descended on the long village at the weekend to enjoy the festival which is now in its seventh year.
Launched by the Deputy Polish Ambassador, Dr. Jacek Rosa, on Friday evening, jazz music accompanied the sunshine and the crowd throughout the weekend.
